Was just chatting with my ex colleague Des, from Singapore Sports School and coincidentally he was at home and waiting to be at his Solemnization tonight! Was it 6th sense or what?! We had a long long chat online and I am so happy for him! I mean he and his wife to be have been going out since I knew him and that was, hmmm 2003?!
And nearer to the end of our chat, he sent me a few old photos and this picture simply brought back so much memories for me! I love the time I had in Sports School more than anywhere else I've worked in, for its the place that have shaped most of who I m today! I was surrounded by a group of colleagues filled with passion for sports and for the future of the sports industry in Singapore! A group of people filled with passion for life, for our students, in searching of ways to help talented kids balanced their life! A wonderful group of humans who were sincere and so full of life... They kept me mentally and physically healthy and have taught me and shared with me so many things which I've lost count! They were also the ones responsible to have ignited my passion in sports and also my never ending postive attitude towards life!
I miss them so much... This picture consists of a few of us the pioneer batch, out hiking on a teambuilding exercise! Can't wait to reunite with everyone next year April 25th at Des chinese wedding! The date has been marked and stamped! I'm sure James, the naked one in the picture would have dread to see this pic on my blog, either that or being proud of it, coz now he is a triathelete and he is super duper fit la, the old him was so chubby!!! Haha...
