I so miss hubby! Gonna see him this weekend! Yipee yeah yeah! Have been bumming around the entire week! Spent a few days with Kit going around the community colleges looking for classes to take. And I so wanna sign up for an Early Childhood Education Class... Well am still deciding, cause I wonder when I go back home will I want to work in a Childcare centre or even in a Kindergarten? Anyway the course is still somewhat interesting even if I do not want to work in a school with little people. I like kids so much I am sure it will be fun to learn more about them and their little behaviour! Shall discuss with hubby when he comes back from his Nellis exercise before I start to hit the books! Somewhat looking forward to it but also dreading the exams that I might be taking! I remember after my Bachelor, I promise myself never to study again! But this time its different ya? Cause I dun have to work part time and study at the same time! A full time student and I am kinda excited about that...
Anyway I was really really happy yesterday at Piano class! My sight reading has finally improved quite a bit and my teacher felt that way too! She commented, good sight reading! I was like thinking to myself "Thanks to all the practise last week I had looking at the pieces!" I must continue to improve so that I can be 1 step nearer to playing my favorite piece soon!
Check out this really nice picture I've gotten over the Internet, it's from a photo sharing website called "Flickr" I am sure some of you would be using. And there are so many budding photographers who are sharing their "art pieces" on Flickr! When we were in New York, there were many tourises who were using those professional cameras, the Nikons with the big lenses... while I was still using my canon ixus digi cam! I guess photography is getting to be a much cheaper hobby as compared to the last time. Even Ah Lei have one and he brought it along during our trip! He got it during the last black friday. A Nikon, I forgot what was the model at only $600USD+. Super good deal lah! Thanks to him and his camera we got quite a few nice pictures which we couldn't have captured with our digi cam! I think maybe end of the year, if we are still around for a black friday, we could get a really nice professional camera too! I think even Hoonie & Robin has one! So tempted, shall save save save!
Anyway I simply love this picture lor! The black and white piano with the red rose. Isn't it nice... So classy... And the red on the rose is simply perfect! I wonder if the photographer photoshoped the picture or not hehe...
Well more about my boring life, since darling wasn't around the past week, I've been too lazy to even use the kitchen. When I was at Hwee Eng's place she told me to go try out this bread brand called Pillsbury and I finally did...
It so easy! Just pop the entire dough into the oven for 30mins and I get a nice hot loaf of French bread! I dun need to go get a fresh loaf of bread which I can't ever finish the next time...
I must say the bread's pretty good. Yummy! Top them up with Tuna Mayonnaise and with 3 glasses of Orange juice and that was my "brunch" for yesterday. And today, I just pop the rest of the loaf into the oven and I have some more toasted French bread with Egg Mayonnaise plus a cup of hot green tea and Yoplait Strawberry and banana Yogurt and that was my meal for Brunch today! Am I healthy or what!
Ok I have a bit more left for tomorrow's brunch before Saturday! Hmmm What shall I top the bread off with? Oops I just remember that tomorrow we are having a lunch with the rest of the wives to welcome Gail and some other new wives. What will happen to my bread!!! Guess I gotta finished them up for dinner otherwise by the time I come back from Vegas I will have to throw the 1/3 loaf away...
