Dong Dong Chang!!!

Dong Dong Chang... Dong Dong Chang!!! It's Chinese New Year in another week?!!!! OMG... Totally can't feel the mood here lor... No red lanterns, no ba kua smell... nothing! i think I have to toast my own Honey bacon as ba kua liao!!! Sigh... My first year away from my favorite Chinese New year... The steamboat reunion dinner!!! Sigh... Anyhowz, There's still gg to be a reunion dinner for us next week with the squadron and I get to wear my sarong kebaya haha... Promise the girls that I will wear for the dinner!!! And and and... because of CNY, darling gets a Wed, Thur, Fri off next week!!! Yeah yeah yeah... But I figure we will still be home playing his latest favorite PS3!!! Haha...
So during dinner, I ask darling if we should make pineapple tarts since its the new year and he heartily agreed!!! Here's what we did after dinner! So fun... But I forgot I've return the pineapple tart cutter to big Jess and we no longer have the cutter... thought of creative way... instead, we had our square pineapple tarts!!! Ha ha ha...
They still tasted just as yummy!!! Darling, hard at kneading!!!

Fresh out from the oven!!! Hehehe... See the cute shapes... hahaha... Our first square pieces of pineapple tarts... I made some rolled up ones too... I think they tasted yummier!!!
Delicious! At least curb a teeny weeny bit of that loss of CNY feeling coz I got my hubby and Frost with me... and if you are wondering where Frost is... He is right below us, begging for 1 single piece!!! How cruel for us not to give him any! I dun thk its wise to feed him a tart leh...
The tarts going into the lock and lock container... It's gonna last us thru the new year..! And if we do have any visitors!!! Hehe...
