After about 1 week of doing nothing... Not much cooking and cleaning. It is housework time! Darling's coming home at about 2plus pm and I am so excited! So is Frosty... I trimmed his face hair today and I kept telling him gently that Daddy is coming home and so surprisingly the naughty boy allow me to trim the hair round his face and eyes with a pair of scissors! Normally he won't allow alright! He will squirm and avoid wherever possible making it super difficult! Hmmm I wonder if he really understands that daddy is coming back home!
Anyway to review my checklist: Vacumn-Check Change Bedsheets-Check Clean Stove-Check Wipe and dust the furniture-Check Laundry-Check Fold Clothes-Check Wash Toilet-Check Wash Basin area-Check Polish Mirrors-Check Clean stairway area-Check Bathe Frosty-Check Wash Car-Check Cook dinner-NOW!!!
I made Kong Ba Bao for dinner today! Slurp slurp... But mine isn't the fatty pork belly type! I used Tender Pork Loin, highly recommended by Kit... I find that its more healthy and there's more meat to chew on! I know I know you must be thinking when did semi-hala Ophe start eating pork?! I must say the pork over here in the States is definitely different from those smelly ones in Australia. I've tried the ones here and they dun really have that porky porky taste which I hate! So I'm like really happy... I think esp mummy! Coz she's been urging me like forever to start eating pork...(I think I became halal since the Perth days!) She says I'm too skinny coz I dun eat pork! Her and her porky theory... So anyway kudos to me starting out on pork... I am sometimes still wary, will ask darling to try out the pork first. If he has the "no porky taste thumbs up sign" then I will dive in! I even had Pork ribs at Shirley's place around thanksgiving last year... It was so delicious! So proud of myself lah...
Will update a pic of my Kong Ba Bao later then! Aren't you guys back home looking forward to my cooking when I am home?! Wa ha ha...
