How do you sleep when he's not there?
Monday, October 22, 2007
Hehe was reading this month's issue of Cosmo and this is pretty interesting :) The way you drift off when you're snoozing solo can reveal alot about your twosome. Read your bedroom language! :) I sleep on my side of the bed when Daddy J's not around, while Daddy J sleep right smack in the middle of the bed when I'm not around... How about you? -Oops pardon my ugly drawings!
Cuddling a pillow You're missing your man, so you're snuggling the pillow in his place-pretty straight forward. But you're curled up in the fetal pose, a sign you're feeling vulnerable. According to Samuel Dunkell, MD Director of Insomnia Medical Services in New York City.Maybe you don't feel as safe when your guy is gone. Or perhaps you're insecure about the relationship, says Dr Dunkell. This pose indicates that you're affectionate and loyal but need reassurance that he feels the same.
On Your side of the bed
Sticking to your usual spot when there's plenty of extra room shows that you are secure in the relationship and have no doubt that your man is there for you even when he is not physically present. "This position shows that you're confident and independent" yet comfortable and content with the status quo of your bond, says Dr. Dunkell
On His side of the bed
If you roll over to your guy's snoozing zone, your relationship is top priority. "Moving to your partner's side of the bed shows that you thrive on being part of a close-knit team and you complete each other," says Dr. Dunkell. So it's no surprise that you feel a little empty when he's gone. Though you take his space when you sleep(maybe seeking more closeness), the semifetal pose indicates that you're rational and easy-going, which helps keep your needy urges in check so you can give him enough space in the relationship.
In the Middle of the bed
Sprawling out in the centre of the mattress when you're sleeping solo indicates that you have a very equal, well balanced twosome. "There isn't power struggle going on," says Dr. Dunkell. "Moving to the middle of the bed reveals your sense of autonomy as well as a strong emotional connection." You definitely need your guy, but you make sure he needs you just as much.
