Sigh another holiday break is over... :( How was your national day break peeps? Mine was pretty fun! Me and Jason had to prepare a big tray of Fried rice, it was really tiring! I swear not to get into the catering business! Haha. My right bicep muscles are really toned now! But the left side... still flabby- All from the cooking! Check out this big pot of rice!
The food at the celebration were prepared by the staff from the squadron. So much S'pore local dishes were prepared! Definitely curb those "missing home" feelings I am having- We had Nasi Lemak, Longtong, Nasi Briyani, kou rou bao, pandan cake... Jane had emailed me the recipe for Pandan cake! Am going to try it out soon!
And most of us wore RED and WHITE, to honour S'pore's 42nd birthday! The last time I kept track of National Day, S'pore was only 35, we've grown so fast! Scary how time passes! Check this out, my favorite...
Kittie, Jane, Me and Aifang Aifang's going back to S'pore in Sept, gonna miss her loads. Her hubby will be going to Paris to further his studies in Dec for a year and a half... So fun!
Anyway there were more pictures taken from the National Day! The squadron also chose to unveil the new flagship - 6035, a dual seat fighter. According to Toadi- one of the aircrew, it was a significant move to signify 425FS as a unique Pilot/WSO squadron, which is different from the rest of the units here where the flagship are all single seat jets, and so we took the chance to take loads of pics! Here's my fav pic of hubby and me:

Last Friday, Jason's JC mate Guan Lim who is a helicopter Flight Commander station in Tucson came to visit us and stayed over for a night at our place! He was on route to Grand Canyon and came over to catch up! It was nice as it was the first time I met them.
The little girl is Diane and the big brother is Darren, Guan Lim's wife is Denise- All "D"s! A lovely family... Diane's really sweet and very smiley and she loves Frosty! Gonna miss her very much!
Today, we went to Jane's place to make bread! It was really fun, we made coconut buns and roti boy! Really cool! Jessica make chwee kuey and Bebe made Muah Chi! It was so yummy! I must try it the next time! Took some pictures! Shall update the next time! Too lazy to upload them now haha.
Don't think we will be able to go back to S'pore in October for Thomas and Lisa's Wedding cause Jason's not supposed to take leave the week their wedding is held. :( But he was saying he might be able to take leave in Sept and Suyi and Pui will be coming to visit! So exciting! We hope to meet them in San Fran and LA! And after that, they might come back with us to Phoenix just to chill out! So fun!!! Cross fingers that J can take leave the week they are here!
Jason's cousin whose staying in LA will be coming over to visit us this weekend! Another busy weekend!
Shall update soon! Gonna take a nap now... Frost is napping and I want one too!
