Morning woes...

This past 2 days, Baby J has to go to work really early... We wake up like about 5am... and the sky is super bright... have breakfast and J goes to work... I bring Frosty down for his walks and its really nice cause its cool and windy. Unlike normal days when we wake up at 9am and its super warm during the walk...
Poor Frosty looks really sleepy during his walk too haha. He is so used to waking up late with us. He has been upgraded into our bedroom. Before that he has been sleeping outside the bedroom door in his little bed but every night he looks so miserable alone outside the door then finally we agree to let him into the bedroom to sleep with us provided he dun jump up into the bed. (Anywayz he doesn't know how to jump.) He is so happy! For the past 2 days he has been waking up really late.
Tomorrow is Americas' Independence day and we are going to have a 2 days break! The explanation of: Independence Day- honors the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It's a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and a reason to fly the American flag.
Well the definition appears to be similar to our National Day, but why dun we all get 2 days off like over here... Back home, only the parade performers gets an extra day ya? Over here though it falls on a Wed, they still get Thur off? Why??! Well according to the explanation, its going to be a night of fireworks, and certainly there's one going on in the base, at Fowler's park and I think we will be there with our picnic basket since we still dunnoe what we are going to do for the holidays yet! :).. Apparently the fireworks are going to be very grand, according to June and well I am not sure how grand is going to get, since I've only seen fireworks back home and they have been great except for the extreme number of people hogging the streets of The Esplanade...S'pore only have fireworks like 2 - 3 times a year and its always the best ya?! I am sure it aint as crowded here in the base! So we shall see. Oh anywayz, Transformers opens tomorrow, and I am sure, darling J can't wait to see it. His crazy over them! I remember his collection of Transformers in his room back home haha...
Well I am going to make Manqi's Chicken Pie today for dinner tonight. Forgot to buy brown mushrooms though. Sigh, so no mushrooms in the chicken pie, I wonder if Chinese Mushrooms will work instead haha...
Sigh I have a sudden craving for Teochew Muai!!! I wan to eat the giam cai...
Ok, going to the Gym now. Ok before that, check out my latest project, its given to me by Samantha, my Father-In-Law's (FIL) colleague before I left for States. Shes real sweet ya? Back home when I go to work with FIL in his car every morning, Sam will be in the car too catching a ride from my FIL so that's how I know her... In fact she knows that I'll be very free when I m over here and she has given me a few and I've jus started the first... Looking cute eh?

Anyway here's how much I've done, since yesterday And when darling saw it, he commented that i am really starting to be a housewife leh... Cook, Clean and now Sewwwww!!! and I realise... Arghhh how!!!! I hope I can still go back to the society when I am back home... Sigh...
