Frost Vet Visit

Hehe... Today super free lor, this is the 2nd post I am updating hehe. Been to the Gym today, muscles all sore... And you wonder why I am so free today its because my hubby he cooked this afternoon before he left for work, Ma You Ji (Sesame Oil Chicken) and we have so much left for dinner so I dun need to cook, but I think I will still add a vege - Oriental Style Cauliflower? Hehe...
So I forgot to update in my last blog that yesterday Frost went to the vet for a medical check up, the allergies he have back in Singapore is more or less gone, he has been scratching lesser and lesser and have no dry and flaky skin... I wipe his body everyday twice after his walks and put baby powder... With my intensive care I think he should be ok haha. So less vet visits means less medical fee! I think I have to email Dr Simon Quek to let him know of Frost significant health. Hehe anyway Frosty has gained about 0.5 lbs since we arrived.
Here's his diet plans (either steamed or boiled) Mon,Tues- Brown rice, beef, brocoli, cheese and a mixture of his kibbles plus fish oil and a pinch of iodized salt Wed,Thu- Potato, beef, carrots, cheese and a mixture of his kibbles plus fish oil and a pinch of iodized salt Fri, Sat and Sun- Brown rice (or pasta) vegetables and a mixture of his kibbles plus fish oil and a pinch of iodized salt
The vet said its great diet! And the fish oil will help his dry skin very well! Yippee. The vet, her name is Dr Johnson also says that Frost is of the best weight! Not skinny and not overweight! Very healthy, no heart mumurs, teeth very healthy except for a nagging lump under his body and she is not worried since there isnt any significant growth and we will leave it there. Anyway its been there for a few months le. Also old dogs have some lumps. Unless the lump grow then she recommended a few Vetenarian surgical clinics to have a biopsy. So pray hard he is ok!
Anyway Frost also had a heartworm check, heartworm is caused by mosquitoes. Although there aren't loads of mosquitoes here in Arizona but she recommended the precaution treatment anyway cause there have been a few cases of that happening. And Frost result is negative! Yeah so now he is on this heartworm precaution treatment which he have to take like once every month. Well all in all... I thought the visit is gg to be super expensive with all the blood taking and checks! Maybe more than a hundred?! But it was a mere $53 yipeee..... doggie health care cost are cheaper here I think. If back in Singapore I think Frost heartworm check will probably be $200? Not sure... hehe... but back home his average checkup cost like $100 minimum!

Oh Oh ... I wanna share with you all this BIG BLUE BLACK I have!!! Baby says that its the biggest he have ever seen and he keep wanting to rub it! But because of my screams he have not rubbed it as hard as he did to my other blue blacks...and have religiously put zam bak gently on my blue black. I love you sweetie! I've been clumsily knockin gmyself all over the house that's why all these stupid blue blacks... i think I have about 4 now on my legs... Oops.
